Sidecar Side-ways offerings are where adventurous women leaders in international schools come together to explore emerging frontiers in leading-while-female. Let’s start by acknowledging that the path to leading in an international school is one that has been largely shaped by men. The scope and expectations of school leadership roles reflect that, as do societal norms about what leadership 'looks like.’ This needs to change.

A good place to start is to get more women into leadership positions. Until the recruitment process becomes more ‘female friendly’ (and I’m supporting efforts around that), there are ways women can more effectively and confidently navigate the leadership job search process. Sidecar-U offers a self-paced course designed by me with just that focus. It’s called Sidecar FastTrack (see below for more information). It can supplement or supplant individual job search coaching from me.
